Late Casting News!

Hannah Woolley who is the current "Alternate Elle" in the west-ends new phenomenom Legally Blonde : The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre, will be departing the production on Monday December 17th 2007.

Replacing Ms. Woolley will be Kerry Butler, Kerry is currently staring in Broadway's "Xandu" at the Helen Hayes Theatre as Kira. Kerry Butler will be joining the production on Monday January 2nd 2007.

New Elle!!

SHERIDAN SMITH will replace the current Elle in the west-ends new phenomenon Diane Piklington on November 19th 2007. Diane Piklington will leave to become Wicked's new witch Glinda from the beggining of Decmber.

Sheridan Smith, who is currently playing Audrey in the Little Shop Of Horrors at Ambassadors Theatre, is best known from TV’s Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps, The Royle Family, Love Soup and Grownups.

She will also join a new cast of Legally Blonde which will be announced shortly. Diane Piklington will play her final peroformace with Legally Blonde : The Musical at the Adelphi Theatre on November 17th 2007.

Sickness Update!!

We have been advised about the status of our sick actors:

Jane McMurtie will return to the show on Monday June 18th 2007
Josh Strickland is estimated to return to the show on Tuesday June 19th 2007
Sherie Rene Scott is estimated to return to the show for Wednesday June 20th 2007 but as she is really sick this is just a estimate given by her doctors.

On Monday the understudies are as follows:

Paulette..........Morag Siller

On Tuesday the undertudies are as follows:
Paulette.........Lucy Harris

As we have a few of our actors out sick Diane Piklington will perform on Monday June 19th 2007. Her standby will not perform on this day.

New Cast Members!

Cristy Candler our current Viviene in Lgeally Blonde will be taking leave from the performance from August 1st-October 15th. As this period is too long to be covered by a understudie we have hird Nikki Davis-Jones to fill in as Viviane Kensington. Nikki Davis-Jones will also become Vivianne Kensington in the full time in the early of November when Cristy Candler will leave the production.

One of our ensemble members Niki Scalera will also be departing on August 1st with Cristy to a different production. As she is leaving we need another ensemble member and a undertudie for Elle & Margot. We have employed Claire Fishenden to do this role. Again Claire Fishenden will join the production as Margot in the early November time with Cristy Candler

WERE OPEN!!!

Legally Blonde has now officially opened in London's West End to rave reviews. We are currently sold out until late July. A limited number of tickets are released everyday at 10.30 at the Adelphi Theatre box office. The show has already recieved nominations for some very important reviews.

Once again, we are finally on the road and OPEN!!
